As we are NOT affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs or Marion County, we rely solely on private donations and grant initiatives to keep our doors open. We remain thankful for all contributions, large and small, to help the growing number of homeless/at risk Veterans and their families here in north central Florida.

MISSION STATEMENT

Veterans Helping Veterans USA is dedicated to serve, support and advocate for the 46,000 Veterans residing in Marion County, Florida. We are the largest non-governmental social service agency in central Florida, as well as the only “one stop shop” in the state to offer a multitude of services in one location to Veterans and their families experiencing tough times.

VISION STATEMENT

Veterans Helping Veterans USA remains steadfast in our quest to eradicate the tragic realities of Veteran homelessness and Veteran suicide in Marion County and beyond. Through peer support, community outreach, and the offering of essential resources, we are tireless in our commitment to ensure that no Veteran faces life's challenges alone. We are resolute in fostering camaraderie, advocating for Veterans rights and providing help with finances, food, housing, employment, mental health and more.

United by service and driven by purpose, we reverently honor the past, support the present, and buttress the gateway by which all Veterans and their families may pass through to enjoy the freedoms they preserved.
