  • PRINT ME!

    • Food Pantry Wish List for Jan 25-Feb 7, 2026
  • JOIN OUR MAILING LIST!

We will be e-mailing a printer friendly Food Pantry Wish List every other week to our Distribution List and it will be posted on this webpage as well. If you are aware of anyone who would like to join our mailing list, please have them send an email to [email protected] with the word "ADD" in the subject line.

The next Food Pantry Wish List will be sent out on Monday, February 9, 2026.

  • Dear Friends,

We are hopeful that the improved communications platform at Veterans Helping Veterans USA will provide our Community with an enhanced process by which to help at-risk and homeless Veterans in our midst here in Marion County, Florida.

Linked on this page (see "PRINT ME!") is printer friendly, 2 page alphabetical listing of all items in our Food Pantry. Items we have a present need for are marked with a blackened box. We welcome ALL donations but especially appreciate any donations of these needed items. Listed volume sizes are estimates. Regular sized cans/boxes, rather than jumbo-sized, better suit the needs of those we serve (many travel light). Thank you to all!

The need is great. Our little Food Pantry distributes over 8,500 POUNDS OF FOOD EVERY MONTH to empty bellies and kitchens throughout Marion County. Thanks to your donations, we are able to help make a real time, positive difference in the lives of Marion County Veterans and their families who are hurting.

If you’ve never seen our Food Pantry—or if you’ve never visited Veterans Helping Veterans USA—please accept this as a personal invitation from our hooch to yours. Come explore! Just give a call ahead of time to schedule a tour of the only “one stop shop” in the state of Florida where Veterans and their families can take care of numerous items in one physical location.

We’re open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am – 5 pm; Wednesday 9 am – 7 pm; Saturday 9 am – 1 pm. We are closed on Sunday.

We are grateful, in advance, for any support you’re able to offer our Veterans going through tough times. A donor acknowledgment letter is provided for tax deduction purposes. All donations- every penny and each can or box of food- stay right here in Marion County.

When dropping off a donation, please pull right up underneath the front door overhang and come on in to let us know you’re here. We will send out staff with shopping carts to unload your donation and provide you with a donation letter. We are very grateful for any help! Thank you!

    Respectfully Yours,

    Todd Belknap
